Experts to Discuss Future of ilotteries at
NCLGS Summer Meeting in
Boston, July 7-10

BOSTON - A panel of lottery experts will chart the digital future of ilotteries at the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) Summer Meeting, which will be held July 7-10 at the Westin Copley Place in Boston.
 
As the only gaming conferences where the legislative decision-makers meet, the NCLGS semiannual meetings attract legislators, regulators, operators, suppliers, attorneys, lobbyists, media, and other stakeholders to discuss all aspects of regulated gaming. Dozens of legislators from across the country will be among the more than 250 expected attendees at the Summer Meeting.

The session about ilotteries, “Considerations for Moving into the Ilottery Space,” will help identify the opportunities and challenges that states must consider when their lotteries consider entering the online space. It will be held at 1:45 p.m. on July 8.
  
Delegate Shawn Fluharty of West Virginia, a Vice President of NCLGS, will moderate the panel discussion, which will include the following presenters:
  • Beth Bresnahan, Vice President, Lottery, Scientific Games
  • May Scheve Reardon, Executive Director, Missouri Lottery
  • Greg Smith, President & CEO, Connecticut Lottery Corporation
The four-day NCLGS Summer Meeting will include:
  • Six NCLGS Committee meetings, including those focusing on casinos, Indian gaming, lotteries, pari-mutuel, and responsible gaming
  • Morning and luncheon keynote addresses
  • International Masters of Gaming Law Masterclasses
  • Two general session panels
  • Two evening networking receptions
 
Once again, the GLI Regulator Seminar will co-locate with the NCLGS Summer Meeting, taking place July 7 at the Westin Copley Place.
 
The NCLGS Summer Meeting has been approved for 10 general credits of Continuing Legal Education by the State of Nevada.
