Overview of Member and Associate-Member Privileges
WHAT IS NCLGS?
- The National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (“NCLGS”) is the only organization of state lawmakers that meets on a regular basis to discuss issues regarding gaming.
- NCLGS does not promote or oppose gaming but is primarily concerned with the proper regulation and best practices of the industry.
MEMBERSHIPS (Member vs. Associate)
- All states and territories of the United States, including the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, are deemed to be NCLGS members. States are distinguished as either Members or Associate Members.

o Associate members may attend the Summer and Winter meetings at their own cost, participate in NCLGS discussions, and access the NCLGS website.
