CHICAGO – As states increasingly expand the scope of gaming to generate fiscal receipts, their lotteries are facing increased pressure to develop new sources of revenues – but is this colliding with their respective casino industries? • Is there a turf war between a state’s public-sector lottery and its private-sector casino industry?
  • Is there a line in the sand between these two types of gambling providers?
  • Should distributed video gaming terminals be the province of a state’s lottery of gaming companies?
  • How far can – or should – lotteries go in offering online games?
Delegate Shawn Fluharty, West Virginia, will chair the Committee.Confirmed presenters are:
  • Timothy J. Lowry, Partner, DLA Piper
