Casino Leaders Focus on Past, Present and Future Operational Impact of COVID-19 at
Summer Meeting Of Legislators from Gaming States,
July 11-13 in Chicago

CHICAGO – A panel of experienced leaders from Bally’s Corporation, Penn National Gaming, and Rivers Casino will convene at the Summer Meeting of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) to examine the impact of the COVID-19 impact on the casino industry and the lessons learned from this unprecedented pandemic. The Summer Meeting, to be held July 11-13 at the InterContinental Magnificent Mile in Chicago, is scheduled to be the first national in-person gaming conference in more than a year.
Representative Christie Carpino from Connecticut will chair the Committee on Casinos, which will hear from the following presenters:

  • Rafael Verde, Senior Vice President, Regional Operations, Penn National Gaming

  • Co-location with the GLI University’s Mid-Year Gaming Regulators Seminar 2021, which begins at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 11.
